Thermal Expertise, Focused on Your Product
We build the imaging core so you can build the product — a manufacturer's mindset, an integrator's empathy, and a long-term view of supply.
From Detector to Deployment
Kunda Thermal was founded by engineers who spent years integrating thermal cameras into end products — and repeatedly hitting the same wall: cores sold as components, with support that ended at the datasheet.
We decided to close that gap. Today we design uncooled VOx cores, match them with optics and ship them with the SDK, schematics and factory calibration an OEM actually needs. From first light on the bench to serialized units on the production line, we stay accountable.

The Road So Far
- 20XX — FOUNDING
Team of thermal integrators establishes Kunda to build cores the way OEMs need them.
- 20XX — FIRST 640×512
MICO platform ships; SDK and reference designs released alongside the first EVKs.
- 20XX — RADIOMETRIC LINE
iSE series brings ±2 °C full-frame radiometry to industrial instrument makers.
- 20XX — 1280×1024 FLAGSHIP
iSE1212 extends the platform to long-range security with 8 µm pixels.
- 20XX — GLOBAL OEM NETWORK
Distribution and FAE coverage across Europe, Middle East and Asia-Pacific.
Three Commitments
Engineer Honesty
Real specs, real NETD measurements, real DRI tables. If we can't hit it, we say so before you quote it.
Long-Term Supply
Multi-year availability commitments and EOL notices measured in years, not quarters.
Integration Empathy
We have built products with thermal cores — we know where integrations break, and design to prevent it.
Quiet Excellence
The best core is the one your customers never notice. We optimize for reliability, then for headlines.
